The CAN Group are delighted to announce they have bolstered their PR division with the signing of CEO of Mansfield Town Football Club and lawyer, Carolyn Radford. The Can group will be handling Carolyn’s personal profile and PR.
A powerful and highly respected businesswoman and mum of three, Carolyn is one of the only few female CEOs in professional football and was one of the youngest football CEO’S in the country, accepting the position at the age of just 29.
In Football, Carolyn is passionate about defending equality and fairness within the game. She strives to challenge the ‘norm’ and change perceptions in both football and business in general, having spoken in the national media about the business of football, as well as the challenge of women succeeding in male-dominated industries.
Carolyn is a driven and inspirational woman having graduated with a Politics degree from the University of Durham and recently completed a master’s degree in Professional Legal Practice and is a lawyer at OCL Solicitors as wells as being a director at One Call Insurance.
Philanthropy is a big passion of Carolyn’s and she is focused on giving back especially to her local community. She founded the Radford Foundation, a charity specialising in helping create a safer, stronger community for the people of Mansfield and the surrounding areas. It has awarded grants to sporting individuals and groups to instil a greater sense of self belief to achieve their goals and improve their lives.
